I know this is kind of last minute but I am throwing a Gold Canyon Candle Mystery Hostess Party for you!  This Wednesday, September 26th from 7pm-9pm. I am trying really hard to meet my quota of $405 in sales by this Friday so I can continue being a consultant for Gold Canyon.

Here is how you can get entries in to become the hostess:

Parties are really easy, here is how they work.
Home Parties:
All you need to do is prepare you house for guest.
Your guests would love little simple finger foods which you can find on Pinterest.com
I provide you with invites you can mail out or hand out and if you would like, I can set up an e-vite for you to email to your friends as well.

Office/Work Parties:
I just need one-two hours to have my stuff set up (preferably during lunch time) so that people can stop by on their way to lunch or even on their way in from lunch. These are easy and great with people that want to order and get  back to work.

Online Parties:
I send you an email invite. You will enter in your personal favorite scents from Gold Canyon and then you send it off to your friends through email. You will need to send a reminder email once or twice while he party is going on but other than that, you just sit back and relax. The reminders really help get those sales. My mom has done an online party and she did a $500 party but she was consistent with sending reminders and even setting up an event on Facebook.

So here is how this party is going to work. 

Everyone who comes will be entered into the drawing. 

Everyone who brings a friend will be entered again. ex. if you bring 3 friends, you get 3 more entries in.

Everyone who places an order will get entered in.

And last but not least, whoever books a party gets entered in as well.

New Year, New Beginnings

My name is Jessica and I am an Independent Fragrance Consultant for Gold Canyon Candles. I am currently in school and trying to pay my way through. I am doing all I can to make my business grow. I know it is going to take time but I also know that with your help, it is possible. There are a lot of ways you can help me.

First and foremost, you can Host a party. The great thing is, there are 4 different types of parties you can host. You can have a catalog party, a work party, a home party or even an online party. I will explain how each of these work.

Catalog Party: I give you 2 catalogs with 5-7 samples of your favorites scents. You can do this a bunch of different ways, you can just carry the catalog and the samples with you and share them with your friends when you see them, you can take them when you have a lunch get together with some of your friends, and you can even take the catalog to work and leave it where everyone will see it. You can also send one with your husband and have him take it to work as well.

Work Party: This is where I send 2 catalog parties with you one day and within that week, we schedule a day and time that I can bring my stuff and set it up for an hour long party. Typically these are held during everyone's lunch hour. It only takes about 5 mins for people to look at the product and smell a few so if they are running out, they can just smell a few and put in an order later on. But of course, the order should be put in before your party closes so you can get the great Hostess incentives that we are offering for the new year.

Home Party: This is where we set up a day and time for me to come do an in home party for you. I have a lot of great games to play and incentives for the hosts, anyone that books a party and even people who order $50 or more during the party. The home parties last only about 2 hours. They can be shorter if they need to be, that's not a problem.

Online Party: This is by far the MOST popular way to throw a party right now because,
1. you don't have to worry about cleaning your house to have guests over.
2. you don't have to bake/cook finger foods, so you don't have to dirty your kitchen.
3. last but not least, you don't have to worry about sorting all of the orders because when people order, it will be sent straight to their door. The way it works is, I will send you an email that you will forward out to all of your friends and family. It gives specific instructions on how to order so that you have a chance to get free products. All you have to do is make sure you forward the email out at least 3 times during the week just to remind them.

You can make a Facebook event for any type of party you throw. My mom did it for her online party and it was a great party. She got $80 in free products and 6 items with 50% off on each of them.
Second, you can tell your friends about me and how you know someone who sells Gold Canyon if they are ever interested in buying candles.
